A time of Thankfulness

I can’t believe time clips at a fast pace. It feels like the beginning of October was yesterday. Now, it’s the day before Thanksgiving. It is a time of much appreciation. We should all slow down and think about memorable moments in our lives. Today’s post is about how to commemorate milestones in our lives.

The birth of a child means so much to me. I have been at the birth of all but two of my family members. I like being around family and the joy it brings us. The picture in this journal submission commemorates the birth of my great-great nephew. It was an honor when I was asked to laser engrave a picture of Grayson as well as his birth announcement. For his picture, a family member took a picture on their smartphone and sent it to me. Alan created layers and masks in Photoshop to create the old-time look with the engraver. I looked for just the right look and fonts for this special day. I really like how both products turned out,
